DAW 2026 - May 23 to June 7, venue 74: Dick Hewitson and Barbara Davis

Dick and artist Barbara Davis are exhibiting in Dorset Arts Weeks 2026, at venue 74, Oakley Lodge, 31 Brook Lane, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 3RD, Dick's home/studio.

The DAW Guide, Dorset Arts Weeks website and the DAW App. all have clear directions to the venue, but just in case you get lost nearby, here they are again: From top of Haywards Lane, turn right into Brook Lane. Along Brook Lane, at de-restriction sign, lane divides into two. Keep straight ahead. House first on left after fork, by large Oak. Parking in drive or road nearby.

Drawing is very important to Dick's practice, though most of his drawings are in sketchbooks. Some of these will be available for viewing in his exhibition. Plein Aire field sketches have contributed to the development of many of his paintings. Below, drawings, sketch books etc.

The wall - hung works by both artists will be catalogued for easy reference. Please note that this show will only be taking card payments or cash, not cheques. Both artists will be selling cards, and unframed work in browsers.
