Inland Dorset Landscapes
These paintings are all contemporary landscapes, mostly in oils. Interpreting and painting the Dorset landscape is a major focus in Dick's work. He has painted 'objects' found in the Dorset landscape, such as barns, water towers, bridges.
These paintings look at various mainly rural locations, including farmland. Dick is interested in the way that modern farming practices transform the appearence of rural areas, and his work reflects this.
